Sunday is for football! And with two L.A teams, there is a football game in Los Angeles almost every Sunday. This past Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the Chargers vs Cardinals game at the Stubhub Center. Being one of the smaller venues in L.A ticket prices at the Stubhub Center can be pricey, but there are no bad seats in the house. Even if you purchase the “cheapest” seat, your view of the game will not be obscured and you’ll feel very close to all the action. Small stadium also means a loud stadium and a great atmosphere. This is the view from American Express Lounge:

Along with an awesome atmosphere and great view, the Stubhub Center also delivers when it comes to food! The stadium food is brought to you by Levy Restaurants. Levy is also handles the Stadium food for Dodger Stadium and Staples Center, among many others. Levy executive Chef Ross Luciano and Sous Chef Estevan Vargas offer special day food based on opponents, delicious fish tacos, and my favorite; a Rock n’ Brew recipe, recreated by Levy Chefs, the Tri-Tip Sandwich:

Along with their stadium food they have non-Levy restaurant stands like; Chancho’s Tacos and My Father’s BBQ. Both so delicious! and they also have several food trucks! Both at their Block Party Section and at two Beer Garden locations. The food trucks vary game to game, but there are usually around 6 food trucks total, so you’ll be able to satisfy your cravings.
And which adult doesn’t like to enjoy a football game with some adult beverages. Stubhub Center offers many alcohol stands including 2 Beer Gardens and the Block Party area, all 3 with many TVs so you don’t miss a second of the action or if you arrive early you can enjoy all the other NFL games going on before the Chargers kickoff.
All in all catching a football game at the Stubhub Center is a great experience. Whether you are a Chargers fan or your favorite NFL team is playing against the Chargers, I highly recommend taking a trip to Carson for some football.
